About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Yusuf Efe Kızılöz. I was born on August 4, 2007, in Kayseri and grew up in Avanos, a small town in Nevşehir. Because my family is originally from Avanos, most of my relatives live in the same district, which helped me build strong family ties from an early age. I was always a curious kid—I loved visiting their workplaces and sharing a glass of Turkish tea: an engineering office, a tech store, a garden supplies shop, a hotel—each one fascinated me in a different way.

With Cappadocia right in Nevşehir, I also grew up in a very multicultural setting. I had the chance to make friends from many countries and family backgrounds, and noticing that diversity early on sparked my desire to step beyond what could sometimes feel like an isolated fishbowl and see other ways of life.

I completed my primary and middle school at Kardelen College and, after the high-school entrance exam, was admitted to Robert College. I’m now 18, a high-school student with a strong interest in economics, finance, and management.

Hobbies

Golf

When I was 13, I learned to play golf—a hobby my family also shares—and I enjoy playing with them whenever I get the chance.

Photography

The photography class I took helped me discover this hobby. After that, I bought my own camera and started shooting. You can check out some of my photos and my mini-book, Melancholy of Destruction:

Scuba Diving

After completing my dive training, I earned my one-star certification. Whenever I can, I love to dive and observe the underwater ecosystem.

Music Production

I love writing songs—especially in the rap genre—and recording demo versions of the tracks I make with my friends.
